APPLYING BLUSH - STEP 1

Applying blush seems pretty simple but to be honest a lot of the time girls are getting it wrong. I’m going to show you my take on having a punchy check colour but but blending it seamlessly. In this look I’m also going to be showing you how to make your cheek bones stand out even if you are like me and don’t have any. Amy our beautiful model has an amazing face but I’m going to show you the difference a bit if blush, contour and highlight can make.

APPLYING BLUSH- STEP 2

I like to start the cheek with contouring the cheek bone. I like to use a power that is a few shades darker then the models skin tone. Then lightly shading the lowest point of the cheek bone. Using a clean medium size brush.

Tip- less is more when it comes to the step. No one wants tiger stripes on the side of their face.

APPLYING BLUSH- STEP 3

Then with a larger brush take your desired colour and place onto the cheek in a sweeping motion. I like to use less product and build, layer by layer.

APPLYING BLUSH- STEP 4

Lastly with a highlight product dust over the highest point of the cheek.

Tip- this is going to help create an almost 3D effect on the face, and in return make the cheek look more pronounced.
